About Us

North Saint Paul is very much a small town within the Twin Cities Metro area. The city is surrounded by the suburbs of Maplewood, Oakdale, White Bear Lake, Mahtomedi, and Saint Paul, the state capital. North Haven members come from a radius of about 15-20 minutes and have easy access from I-694 and state route 36.

The Twin Cities

The Twin Cities Over 3.6 million souls occupy the Metropolitan statistical area of 15 counties in the area of the Mississippi and Saint Croix Rivers’confluence. But it doesn’t seem possible in this area of lakes, ponds, hills, forests and more. Diverse in people and diverse in culture, the Cities area is great for living and visiting.

According to Redfin, median housing in the Cities is $368,000, which is less than the national median of $408K. 6/23

Education

North Saint Paul, is a part of District 622, the school district combining North Saint Paul, Oakdale and Maplewood. Bethel University, Bethel Seminary and the University of Northwestern, St. Paul are within 20 minutes of the church. Century College is a two-year community and tech college just across I-694 in Mahtomedi.

Events

The Cities are known for a very strong arts and culture emphasis with numerous theaters for plays and concerts. The Xcel Energy Center and US Bank Stadium host nationally known concerts and events.

Sports

Sports are well represented from the numerous small colleges and universities, the University of Minnesota and professional sports teams—the Vikings (NFL), Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA) and Lynx (WNBA), Minnesota United (MLS), Minnesota Twins (MLB), Minnesota Wild (NHL)—Minnesota is the STATE of Hockey, and Saint Paul Saints (AAA affiliate of the Twins.)

Minnesota is known for outdoor recreation as the Land of 10,000 lakes. Besides being within just a little over 2 hours to Lake Superior and Duluth, hundreds of lakes, the Mississippi and numerous city parks and lakes within the Metro, here are just a few of the attractions within an hour of North Saint Paul.
